Clinical studies
At the Faculty we are proud to perform clinical studies and carry out research. We believe it is important to take responsibility for, and take part in, the development of new products and safe treatments.
We follow strict guidelines and have ethical committee approval from the authorities for our clinical studies. When needed, we also have approval from the Medical Agency, which is standard within all pharmaceutical and/or device clinical trials. We always collaborate with professional CRO-companies as partners, in addition to the manufacturing sponsors of the study products.

Want to reduce the depth of your nasolabial folds?
The Faculty in Stockholm is looking for women and men over the age of 18 who want to reduce the depth of their nasolabial folds. A clinical study is being conducted to gather additional information about a filler based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). The filler is called Juläine and is manufactured by the company Nordberg Medical AB. Juläine is CE-marked and approved for use in Europe.
Do you want to participate in a research project about cheek/midface enhancement and contouring?
The faculty is searching for candidates between the age of 22-65, who wish to enhance contours and/or add volume to the midface/cheek bones due to medical or age-related reasons. We are also looking for candidates who are planning to do a face lift.
Do you wish to improve wrinkles in between the eyebrows?
The Faculty is searching for men and women under 65 who wish an aesthetic improvement of the wrinkles in between the eyebrows. The study aim to give further characterization of a recently improved botulinumtoxin. The product is already on the market in USA, Canada, UK and is now being launched in Europe.
