The founder of The Faculty, Associate Professor Per Héden, is one of the world's leading plastic surgeons. He is an internationally recognised key opinion leader and lecturer in the field of aesthetic treatments. He has been active in Sweden and internationally for over 40 years.
Until a few years ago, he worked at Akademikliniken, which he started with his colleague Jan Jernbeck in the early 90s. Over the past 30 years, he has trained and educated many physicians and nurses in both surgical and non-surgical techniques.

Per Hedén’s interest in research and development led him to start a scientific congress called Beauty Through Science just over 20 years ago. The congress annually gathers about 1,000 delegates in Stockholm. Since a few years, it is also established in the United States.
The idea behind The Faculty is to offer aesthetic treatments at a new level. Through its selected practitioners, a close relationship with science and a drive for constant improvement, the clinic offers the latest and greatest in methods and products.
In addition to top professional qualifications, an important aspect when recruiting for the business is to create a team with a common approach to collaboration and patient service. Social skills and positive energy are essential.
Our new clinic has the best possible location next to Stureplan on Humlegårdsgatan 14 (the same building as restaurant Hillenberg). With its own entrance level on the second floor, its reception and 8 treatment rooms are spread over 300 newly renovated square meters.
