Otoplasty
Protruding ears are relatively common and are usually caused by the ear missing one of its folds or by having an excessively deep ear cup. Both of these cases can be corrected with the help of an otoplasty, which involves operating on protruding ears so that they harmonise better with the face as a whole. An otoplasty is usually performed under local anaesthetic.
The scars are placed very discreetly behind the ears and become virtually invisible.
The patient goes home the same day as the operation.
