rhinoplasty
The nose gives our faces character, but often we don't want it to be too conspicuous. Operating on the nose, or part of the nose, means changing, improving or correcting the part of the face that is perhaps the most important in terms of appearance. It is therefore important to carefully discuss expectations, wishes and what is surgically possible based on each person's specific circumstances during the consultation. At The Faculty, we always strive for natural, safe and proportionate results.

Methods for rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty can be more or less extensive. At The Faculty, our surgeons use the method needed to achieve the best result for the patient after individual assessment.
During surgery, the nose is altered by reducing or adding to the supporting structures of the nose, the bones and cartilage. Minor nasal surgery may involve only the cartilage of the nasal tip, while more extensive surgery also requires intervention on the nasal bone and sometimes the cartilage of the nasal septum. The soft tissues of the nose, including the skin, are then remodelled over the new shape of the nasal structures.
The nose surgery is performed under general anaesthesia, which means you sleep and are pain-free. You can go home the same day or the next day depending on the extent of the procedure.
The Faculty has extensive experience in nose surgery
At The Faculty, we perform both primary nasal surgery, which means a nose that has not previously been operated on, and secondary nasal surgery when you are not satisfied with the previous results for one reason or another.
Our surgeons have extensive experience in performing both closed and open rhinoplasty and in selecting the appropriate technique for each patient's individual circumstances. They also have unique expertise in treating complicated cases.
