The treatment
Protruding ears are relatively common and are usually due to a missing fold or an ear cup that is too deep. Both of these can be corrected with surgery so that the ears harmonize better with the face as a whole. Ear surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia.
The scars are placed very discreetly behind the ears and become virtually impossible to see.
The patient goes home on the day of the operation.
