Forehead lift and brow lift

Om behandlingen

With increasing age, signs of reduced skin elasticity gradually follow. The natural aging process leads to excess skin on the forehead and a lowering of the eyebrows. Some people find it aesthetically disturbing with a more grim and tired appearance.

Brow Lift Methods

In an eyebrow lift, also known as a forehead lift, tissues are repositioned rather than removed. There are a number of different techniques such as keyhole surgery, direct excision and deep plane surgery. The Faculty’s surgeons make a qualified assessment of which technique is best suited in each case.

The procedures are usually performed endoscopically, i.e. with keyhole technique via small incisions on the scalp, which means that no scars are visible on the face or forehead. The procedure gives a more relaxed and youthful appearance. A brow lift can be combined with upper eyelid surgery if necessary.
