Surgery on the nose, or part of the nose, means changing, improving, or correcting the part of the face that may matter most to the appearance. It is therefore important to go carefully through expectations, wishes and surgical possibilioties based on each person’s specific circumstances. Methods of rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty can be more or less extensive. At The Faculty, our surgeons use the method needed to achieve the best outcome for the patient after individual assessment.

During the operation, the nose is changed by reducing or expanding the load-bearing structures of the nose, bones and cartilage. Minor nose surgery may only involve the cartilage in the tip of the nose, while more extensive surgeries may also require surgery on the nasal bone and sometimes also the cartilage in the nasal septum. The soft tissues of the nose, including the skin, then reshape themselves over the new shape of the nose’s structures.

The nose job is performed under general anesthesia, which means that you are asleep and pain-free. You can go home the same day or the day after, depending on the size of the procedure.

How much does a rhinoplasty cost?

Nose surgery can be more or less extensive and the price therefore varies depending on the procedure. Rhinoplasty costs from 47 000 SEK, nostril surgery from 42 000 SEK, rhinoplasty from 70 000 SSEK and secondary rhinoplasty from 89 000 SEK.

Where can you have a nose job in Stockholm?

How long do you have duct tape on your nose after a nose job?

Many people know that you have to tape your nose for some time after having rhinoplasty. Immediately after the procedure, a plaster cast is placed over the nose. This must remain in place for about a week. After the plaster has been removed you need to tape the tip of your nose at night for about 2 weeks.

Can you have nose surgery again?

What can you do if you are dissatisfied with a nose job?

If you are not satisfied with your nose job, you should primarily try to talk to the surgeon/clinic that performed the treatment. If you do not want to do so, our experienced surgeons at The Faculty will be happy to receive you to see how we can help you with a so-called second opinion.

We have surgeons who are unique in their experience of performing so-called secondary nose surgeries when they are not satisfied with previous results. This is done after proper consultation and review together with the individual. Such a visit requires careful investigation and costs 3500 SEK.
