What is Juläine?

Juläine is a new Swedish product that is used in treatments to increase the body’s own production of collagen and thereby improve the skin’s quality, elasticity and give it more glow.

The active substance in Juläine is a biodegradable lactic acid (poly-L-lactide acid; PLLA), which stimulates the body’s own production of collagen. As we age, the production of collagen in the body decreases, leading to wrinkles, fine lines and a loss of skin volume and elasticity. What is treated?

The treatment consists of several injections usually performed over a series of two to three sessions, spaced about 6-8 weeks apart.

How long does the effect last?

After a series of Juläine injections, it may take up to six months before the final results of the treatment become visible. This is because Juläine works by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production, which takes time to build up under the skin.
