That's why we offer a comprehensive extended warranty that protects you against unexpected complications and gives you access to our medical team when you need it most. The extended warranty is valid for up to six years after your initial surgery and is designed to give you complete peace of mind.

What does the guarantee mean?

Our extended warranty covers free corrective procedures should complications arise as a result of your breast surgery. Examples of this are:

• If the implant changes position or rotates.
• Higher grade capsular contraction (grades 3 and 4).
• Abnormal scarring.
• Prosthetic rupture (the implant breaks).
• Changes where the implant sinks further than expected ('bottoming out').

The extended warranty is valid regardless of the type of implant you have chosen, and it is not tied to any specific supplier. In the case of implant replacements, the warranty can also be taken out, as long as the replacement is not due to previous capsular contracture.

During the entire warranty period you are entitled to:

• Free follow-up visits with both doctors and nurses after the operation.
• 24/7 access to our medical team during the first days after your surgery, to get help quickly if needed.

What does the guarantee not cover?

It is important to know that some items are not covered by the guarantee, for example

• changes in the appearance of the skin due to reduced elasticity (for example, after pregnancy, weight loss or ageing)
• Normal scarring that is not considered out of the ordinary.
• Capsule contraction if you already had the problem before the guarantee was taken out.
• Requests to change the size or shape of the implants afterwards.
• Complications that occur if you have not followed the instructions we gave you after the operation.
• Costs related to the investigation of ALCL (a rare form of lymphoma linked to certain implants).

How long does the guarantee last and what does it cost?

When you have your surgery with us, it always comes with a one-year guarantee. You can then choose to extend it by five years, giving you a total of six years of peace of mind. The cost of the extension is SEK 6,000.

Lifetime guarantee from the implant supplier

All the implants we use have a lifetime guarantee against cracks, thanks to our partners. Should a rupture occur, the supplier normally covers the cost of the implant itself, while the cost of surgery is covered by our insurance solution.
