Hi, just had a face, neck and nose surgery by Jonas R. Too early to say anything about the end result yet but he is magical in his practice so it can only be the best. I have never been treated so well and taken care of, all the way from the first consultation, surgery planning, reception, the surgery team, the two-night stay. First class VIP feeling right through including the environment which is also TopNotch, private room with TV "sea view" and large veranda/balcony. They have their own chef who prepares wonderful food based on wishes and possible allergens. Room service 24/7 Super professionals the whole team I must say. I will definitely come back here again. Kind regards, AnnaPosted on Google![]()

So professional, nice treatment from start to finish. Dr. Heden inspires great confidence and I received great information after the operation about how it went. The anesthesia and surgical staff were fantastic, I felt so calm and felt safe in their hands. The care in the nursing ward after the operation was top notch, nice, safe and good breakfast🌸+0Posted on Google![]()

Modern business where everything is new and except for the staff, they are old in the paperclip, incredibly experienced and in sync from the reception, nurses, nurses, anesthesia staff and surgeons. No questions are stupid, and they have a rock-solid understanding of pain relief. When the breakfast tray arrives after waking up, you become a little religious with happiness.Posted on Google![]()

Nice staff throughout the clinic and good aftercare, responds quickly to emails. Lovely Riikka operated on me after the effects of childbirth I had a few years earlier. It was nice to be operated on in an environment that is not depressing and with staff/surgeons who are committed.
What does an eyebrow lift involve?
A surgical eyebrow lift is a cosmetic procedure designed to raise the position of the eyebrows in order to restore a more open appearance to the upper third of the face. This is often performed in combination with a forehead lift, in what is known as a forehead and eyebrow lift. The methods vary; from a modern endoscopic eyebrow lift via small incisions in the scalp, to a direct eyebrow lift where the skin is removed just above the eyebrow itself. During your consultation, a thorough clinical analysis will be carried out to determine which technique best suits your facial structure.
Our methods for eyebrow lifts
To achieve a natural and long-lasting result, our surgeons always take your individual tissue structure into account. We use a variety of techniques for eyebrow lift surgery.
Endoscopic eyebrow lift
This is a very common technique in which the surgeon works through small incisions hidden within the hairline. The tissue is gently released and lifted, producing a natural result without the need for long incisions.
Instant eyebrow lift
With this method, a small incision is made just above the eyebrow. The skin is tightened and the eyebrow is repositioned higher up. This is often suitable for older patients or those with noticeably low eyebrows and a prominent forehead.
Forehead lift and eyebrow lift
The eyebrow lift is often combined with a tightening of the entire forehead area to create an anatomical balance.
Gentle technology and medical precision
Regardless of which surgical method is deemed best suited to your anatomy, our specialists use refined techniques that minimise surgical trauma to the delicate facial tissue. A gentle and precise approach is crucial for reducing bleeding and swelling after the procedure. This not only promotes a smoother and safer healing process, but is also key to ensuring good blood circulation and creating the conditions for extremely discreet scars.

Price for an eyebrow lift
What is a reasonable price for a brow lift? The cost depends on the surgical technique used (open or endoscopic incision) and whether the procedure is combined with a forehead lift. You will always be given an exact quote during your consultation.

Eyebrow lift consultation
The first step is a consultation with a plastic surgery specialist. You choose whether you want to book an online appointment or meet us in person at the clinic. During the appointment, you will be given medical information about risks, current waiting times and which techniques are best for you.
You will be given a specific treatment proposal tailored to your body. After the consultation, you will have at least seven days to consider the matter and decide, at your leisure, whether you wish to give your consent.
Eyebrow lift surgery
Step by step
For your peace of mind, we have designed a secure process, from your initial enquiry right through to your final check-up. Here is an overview of how the procedure works.
01. Consultation
Medical assessment and choice of method
We will assess your anatomical conditions and discuss whether a direct eyebrow lift or an endoscopic procedure at the hairline is the right option for you.
02. Before your procedure
Preparing for a safe operation
Once you have given your consent, your operation will be booked. It is essential that you do not smoke at all for four weeks before and after the operation to ensure optimal wound healing.
03. The day of the operation
Safe care at the clinic
You will be admitted and meet your surgeon. Depending on the method used, the procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic with sedation, or under general anaesthetic, and usually takes around one to two hours.
04. After the operation
Awakening and initial rest
You will rest in our recovery ward. Your forehead may be bandaged to apply even pressure to the tissue. The vast majority of patients are able to go home the same day.
05. Recovery & healing
Self-care and convalescence guidelines
For the first few weeks, you should sleep with the head of the bed raised. You should avoid physical exercise, activities that raise your heart rate and heavy lifting for at least 4–6 weeks.
06. Monitoring & results
Medical check-up and final assessment
We will schedule regular check-ups to remove any staples or stitches from your scalp and monitor the healing process. After around six months, you will be invited to a final check-up.
Results following an eyebrow lift
The result after a brow lift is greatly influenced by your original anatomy. During the first few weeks, it is perfectly normal for the area above the eyes and the forehead to be swollen, feel tight and appear discoloured. Initially, the eyebrows may often feel slightly overcorrected (they sit a little too high), but this is completely normal. The tissue gradually settles and adapts to its final, natural position over the first few months. We monitor your healing process closely and evaluate the final result with you after six to twelve months.
Our specialists in plastic surgery
At The Faculty, we have assembled a hand-picked team of plastic surgeons, with every cosmetic procedure being performed by a specialist surgeon with extensive expertise – the cornerstone of your safety.
Who is eligible for an eyebrow lift?
To undergo cosmetic surgery, you must be at least 18 years old and in good general health. During the consultation, a thorough assessment will be carried out to ensure that the procedure is suitable for you and that your expectations are realistic. It is an absolute medical requirement that you are completely non-smoking, as nicotine significantly impairs blood circulation and increases the risk of poor wound healing.
Possible complications and risks
As with any surgical procedure, there are risks involved. General complications associated with a surgical eyebrow lift include bleeding under the skin, infection and uneven healing. Specific risks relate to temporary loss of sensation in the forehead or temporary effects on the nerve that controls eyebrow movement. Your eyebrow lift scars may sometimes be visible depending on your skin’s healing ability, but we work methodically using gentle techniques to minimise all these risks.
Other facial surgery treatments
It is very common for problems with drooping eyelids to be caused by excess skin on the eyelid, rather than (or in combination with) sagging eyebrows. For this reason, forehead and eyebrow lifts are very often performed in conjunction with a upper eyelid surgery. Our surgeons will help you assess exactly which facial structure is causing the sagging.

Why consider an eyebrow lift?
There are many reasons why people might wish to adjust the position of their eyebrows. For some, it is a natural anatomical process whereby the elasticity of the tissue has diminished over time, causing the eyebrows to droop and creating a sense of heaviness over the eyelids. However, it is also common for patients to seek an eyebrow lift at a young age, as they may genetically have very low-set eyebrows that they wish to raise. The decision to undergo surgery is always a highly personal one. We listen carefully to your specific wishes in order to design a treatment plan that is fully tailored to your anatomical conditions.
Frequently asked questions about eyebrow lifts
Here we have compiled some frequently asked questions and answers about eyebrow lifts
Is there such a thing as a non-surgical eyebrow lift?
Many patients are looking for non-surgical methods of eyebrow lifting. The most common searches relate to muscle relaxants. Due to strict regulations governing prescription medicines, we market this as an injection treatment using muscle relaxants. By injecting into specific points, the forehead muscle is given room to lift the eyebrow by a few millimetres. We also carry out treatments using ‘eyebrow lift fillers’ (filler eyebrow lift / eyebrow lift with filler) to restore volume beneath the eyebrow. However, both of these methods are entirely temporary compared to a surgical lift.
Where can I see the results of injections compared to surgery?
Patients often ask to see before-and-after photos of eyebrow lifts. During your consultation, our injection nurses and doctors can show you relevant, medical-grade before-and-after photos to demonstrate the subtle difference achieved by a muscle relaxant, as compared with the more extensive anatomical changes resulting from a full eyebrow lift operation.
What will my eyebrow lift scars look like after the operation?
The location of the scars depends on the method used. With an endoscopic eyebrow lift, the incisions are made within the hairline, meaning the scars are concealed by the hair. With a direct eyebrow lift, the incision is made close to the upper hairline on the eyebrow itself. Initially, the scar is red, but with careful scar tape application and time, it fades and eventually blends in very well with the natural line of the eyebrow.
Can a brow lift and a forehead lift be combined?
Yes. It is actually the most common combination (forehead and eyebrow lift / forehead lift and eyebrow lift). Often, it is the downward pull of the forehead that causes the eyebrows to droop. By lifting the connective tissue of the forehead, the eyebrows are automatically raised to a more open, alert position, purely from an anatomical point of view.
Is the procedure carried out under local anaesthetic or general anaesthetic?
This depends on the extent of the procedure. A direct brow lift, in which the skin just above the eyebrows is removed, can be performed effectively under local anaesthetic in combination with sedatives. A more complex endoscopic forehead and eyebrow lift is performed under general anaesthesia to ensure optimal precision and patient safety.
How much does an eyebrow lift cost?
An exact price for an eyebrow lift is always determined following your in-person or online consultation, as each case is unique. Generally, an endoscopic forehead and eyebrow lift performed under general anaesthesia starts from 64,900 SEK. During your consultation at our clinic (eyebrow lift Stockholm), you will receive a transparent cost estimate that includes all aftercare and follow-up appointments.
