Cosmetic lip tattooing in Stockholm
Are you considering getting a lip tattoo to define the shape of your lips? At The Faculty, you’ll meet certified specialists who will guide you with a scientific approach, reassurance and complete transparency, based on your personal choice.
What does cosmetic lip tattooing involve?
Cosmetic lip tattooing (lip blush) is a semi-permanent pigmentation of the lip tissue. Using a digital machine and fine microneedles, colour pigments are implanted very superficially into the mucous membrane to enhance the lips’ natural colour and contour.
The treatment is a contouring colour technique and does not replace injections that add physical volume. The final result depends on your individual anatomy, with your skin’s undertone determining how the colour heals and settles afterwards.

Why get cosmetic lip tattooing?
The reasons for getting a lip tattoo are highly personal. Many patients choose to have a lip blush done as a personal choice for their own well-being, for example when the lip line has become blurred with age or when they wish to give a pale mouth a more even tone in their daily life. The procedure aims to balance any asymmetry, and we draw up a tailored plan based on your skin’s undertone.

Our modern clinics
The Faculty operates from two locations in Stockholm. Our clinic at Hangövägen 20 is specially designed for plastic surgery procedures, providing the ideal conditions for ensuring patient safety.
For injection treatments and medical skincare, you are warmly welcome to visit our clinic at Humlegårdsgatan 14. Whichever of our clinics you visit, you will meet plastic surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and nursing assistants who will provide you with transparent information and base their recommendations entirely on your anatomical conditions and your personal preferences.
Consultation on cosmetic lip tattooing
The first step is a personal consultation with one of our specialists at our clinic in Stockholm or via a video call. We will carry out a clinical assessment of the tissue in your lips, analyse your skin’s undertone and review your health declaration.
You will be provided with factual information about colour options, how your skin will react during the healing process, and important aftercare advice. Following the consultation, you will have a statutory cooling-off period of at least 48 hours to consider the information at your leisure before deciding whether to give your consent.
peace of mind
& warranties
For your safety and peace of mind, you are always covered by patient insurance throughout your time with us. We also apply clear and transparent terms and conditions regarding the warranty period and follow-up, tailored entirely to the specific method chosen during your consultation.
Financing & Installment Plans
As an alternative to direct payment, there are options for payment in installments via external credit providers. This is presented entirely separately from medical assessments. During your consultation, you will be given a clear quote before your statutory cooling-off period begins.
Transparency & expectations
As every body has unique anatomical characteristics, all results are individual. During your consultation, we focus on medical facts and objective reference images to provide a realistic picture. We explain the healing process and risks before you give your consent.
