Consultation before injection treatment
It all starts with a consultation with one of our skin experts. We carry out a clinical analysis of your scalp’s moisture balance, discuss any issues you may have, such as itching or flaking, and determine whether hydradermabrasion is the right choice for you. You will receive clear information about the machine’s functions and what results are anatomically achievable.
You will receive a specific treatment proposal based on your body. After the consultation, you have a statutory reflection period of at least 48 hours to decide in peace and quiet whether you want to give your consent.

Before your treatment
Preparing for a safe operation
You should come to the clinic with clean, dry hair, free from any styling products, wax or dry shampoo on your scalp, so that the machine has direct access to your skin.
The day of treatment
Safe care at the clinic
The treatment begins by moving the machine’s vacuum nozzle section by section across the scalp. It painlessly extracts dirt, dead skin cells and oxidised sebum that block the hair follicles.
After treatment
Awakening and initial rest
Once the pores are fully open and clean, we switch techniques and apply HydraFacial Keravive Spray – a deeply penetrating serum packed with biomimetic peptides and proteins – directly into the hair follicles.
Recovery & healing
Self-care and convalescence guidelines
There is no recovery period with this method. The hair at the roots will still be damp with the serum when you leave. You will often be given a Keravive peptide spray to use at home, which you should massage in daily to prolong the physiological results.

For the best clinical results, we generally recommend a course of three treatments, each one month apart. We will book a final assessment to evaluate the scalp’s new, balanced moisture levels.

Who can undergo the treatment?
Keravive is ideal for people over the age of 18 who suffer from a dry scalp, itching, dandruff-like flakes or general imbalance. A medical assessment is carried out during the consultation. If you suffer from active, open sores on the scalp, severe psoriasis in a flare-up, or ongoing bacterial infections, we recommend postponing the treatment. We will also adapt the treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What is the difference between a standard HydraFacial and Keravive?
The principle (vortex vacuum) is the same, but the design of the nozzle and the serums are completely different. Keravive uses a more powerful suction mechanism adapted for the scalp and a specific peptide complex spray containing an extremely high concentration of proteins and growth factors intended for the hair follicles, not the skin on the face.
Will the treatment work if I already have thin hair?
Yes, a clean and moisturised scalp is absolutely essential for healthy hair growth. If your hair follicles are clogged with sebum or inflamed due to dryness, new hairs will find it very difficult to break through. Keravive does not cure genetic hair loss, but it creates the optimal environment for hair to grow in.
Can Keravive replace PRP hair treatment?
No, they work through different physiological mechanisms. Keravive focuses on the scalp’s surface environment, hydration and cleansing. PRP is a deep-acting, medical injection treatment that uses your own blood plasma to repair cells from within and prevent hair loss. Many of our patients undergo a Keravive treatment before starting their PRP course for maximum effect.
Will my hair look dirty after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, the hair closest to your scalp will feel damp from the peptide serum. We recommend that you do not wash your hair until the following morning, to allow the active ingredients time to be fully absorbed by the tissue. Afterwards, your hair and scalp will often feel cleaner and lighter than they have in a very long time.
