You should feel confident, before, during and after your breast surgery. Changing something as personal as your breasts is a big decision. When you choose The Faculty, you should be able to trust that every step of your care is based on science, expertise and honesty.
Before your surgery
At your first visit, you will meet with a plastic surgery specialist. Together, you will go over your wishes, your body and your medical conditions, and what is realistic for you. This may include things like shape, size and which method suits you best. Based on this, you will receive a plan that is made for you.
You can always count on an honest opinion. If we judge that the result will not meet your expectations, or that the procedure cannot be performed safely enough for you, we will tell you so. In that case, we would rather advise against surgery.
During your surgery
Your breast surgery is performed by a licensed surgeon together with medical staff with extensive experience. We work according to high standards of safety, hygiene and equipment, and we use implants from established manufacturers.
After your surgery
When you wake up, you will be cared for by specially trained nursing staff in our recovery and care department. During the first few days, you will have access to your doctor and our nursing staff 24/7. For the staff at The Faculty, this is a matter of course, in order to create a strong foundation for healing.
We will then follow you throughout your healing process. With the security guarantee, you will receive:
- free corrective surgery if you experience complications related to your breast surgery, within 12 months
- free follow-up visits to your doctor for 12 months
- free follow-up visits with a nurse for 12 months
- 24/7 emergency contact with the clinic in the first few days after your surgery.
For breast surgeries, special conditions may also apply, such as the manufacturer's warranty on implants.
This is not included
- Costs for extended care or stay that arise if you have not followed the advice and guidelines you have received from us.
- Normal scarring, which is a natural part of your body's healing.
